Already in our first paper, Raven Rinas and I were focusing on the interaction of teacher and student well-being and found that both of them are interacting. The lesson is clear: When I am well as a teacher, they will be better off as well.
This is why teacher well-being is also of high relevance in academic well-being research. Consequently, Raven is currently doing a survey study on teachers’ motivation, coping, and well-being during COVID-19. As compensation for their participation, she created a PDF with useful tips and tricks on how to stay mentally healthy during the pandemic.
